Camping at Tuyen Lam Lake: SUN Forest Stay Options
Want to stay by Tuyen Lam Lake after the day visitors leave? SUN Forest offers an overnight base in our company-owned campsite area. Choose between site access and a tent package, then add the meals or water activities you actually want.

Option one: overnight site access
Overnight site access is VND200,000 per person, with tables and chairs available. This option is for guests arranging their own camping setup rather than booking our tent-and-bedding package. Tell us what you plan to bring so the team can confirm the arrangement. Ask about the available space, arrival time and facilities before your visit.
Option two: a tent with bedding
The tent package is VND300,000 per person and includes blankets, pillows and mattresses. Choose this when you prefer a prepared sleeping arrangement. Ask about the tent allocation for your group and any additional items you should bring. The package is a campsite stay, so expect an outdoor setting rather than a hotel room.

Know which extras you are choosing
Do not add the two overnight prices together unless a written quotation specifically says to do so: they describe different stay options. BBQ, picnic meals, breakfast, SUP or kayak rental and transport are separate unless expressly included in a booked combination. If you want an organised camping programme, ask for an itemised summary of what it covers.
Arrive with time to enjoy the lake
Plan the arrival so you have time to find the agreed meeting point, settle in and ask about the campsite arrangements. You may want a coffee, a separately booked paddle or simply a quiet afternoon. A coffee at SUN Forest is approximately VND90,000 including grounds access for a coffee visit; do not assume drinks are included in an overnight package unless stated.

Camping after canyoning: understand the route
A canyoning-and-camping programme uses two different places. The canyon activity starts at Datanla basecamp, goes into the forest and returns to Datanla. A separate road transfer then takes you to SUN Forest by Tuyen Lam Lake. This is not a campsite inside the canyon route. Confirm the transfer, meal plan and next-day finish when booking.
Pack for an outdoor overnight stay
Bring personal toiletries, suitable clothing, a warm layer and weather protection, plus the items recommended for your selected option. If you are bringing your own equipment, check it before departure. Ask about toilets, showers and charging arrangements so you know what to expect. Keep noise considerate, leave no litter and follow campsite guidance around the water and any cooking arrangements.
The advantage of our own lakeside campsite
Highland Sport Travel has long organised adventure and outdoor programmes in Da Lat. Running our own campsite area at SUN Forest means we can help coordinate the stay with paddling, trekking or a separate canyoning outing. That is useful for couples, friends and groups who want one team to help plan the sequence, while the exact services remain clearly listed.
Send the right details when booking
Tell us the date, number of adults and children, whether you need tents or only site access, and any meal or equipment requests. Mention transport and dietary needs early. Ask the team to confirm the arrival point, check-in and departure arrangements, price and weather-change terms for your selected booking. A clear plan makes the overnight stay easier for everyone.
Your questions answered
Does the VND300,000 tent package include bedding?
Yes. The stated per-person tent package includes blankets, pillows and mattresses. Confirm the tent allocation for your group.
Is BBQ included in either overnight price?
Not automatically. Meals and water activities are separate unless your selected combination specifically includes them.
Do I need to bring a tent for the VND200,000 option?
The site-access option does not include the tent-and-bedding package. Tell the team about your own equipment and confirm the setup before arrival.
