Da Lat Easy Rider: Half Day or Full Day? A Booking Guide

Not sure whether to choose a half-day or full-day Easy Rider tour in Da Lat? Compare the time you have, how comfortable you feel on a motorbike and the experiences you want—not just the number of stops in an advertisement.

01 · What does Easy Rider mean here?

With Highland Sport Travel, the standard Easy Rider arrangement is one guest travelling as a passenger with one local guide-rider on a motorbike. You do not have to control the bike. Tell us if you are asking about a self-ride option instead, because that requires separate checks of your riding documents, experience and the proposed arrangement.

02 · When is a half-day ride the better choice?

Choose a half day if you want a first introduction to travelling by motorbike, have limited time or prefer to keep part of the day free. Our half-day countryside programme focuses on coffee, silk and local surroundings. Confirm the actual stops, start time and expected finish for your date; do not assume a short tour is a compressed version of every full-day attraction.

03 · What do I gain from the full-day option?

A full day gives more room for countryside riding, longer sightseeing stops and a lunch break. It suits travellers who enjoy the journey as much as the photographs. Our countryside day combines waterfall and coffee interests, with the final stops confirmed for conditions and access. Ask about actual riding time and rest breaks rather than judging comfort from total tour duration alone.

04 · What are the prices and what do they include?

The half-day rate is US$30 per guest and the full-day rate is US$45 per guest. Each guest has a guide-rider and motorbike. The usual sightseeing entrance fees on the agreed programme are generally included; confirm any optional paid activities separately. Meals and drinks are separate unless your written booking includes them. Day-trip prices do not include hotel accommodation.

05 · Can I join alone, and can a couple share one bike?

A solo guest does not pay a solo supplement for the standard one-guest, one-guide-rider service. A couple normally books two guide-riders and two motorbikes; do not assume two guests will share the back of one bike. Confirm whether your particular itinerary is private or travels alongside other riders, since one rider per guest does not automatically describe the whole group arrangement.

06 · Can we take a flight or a bus afterwards?

Send your departure details before booking. Leave a sensible buffer for road conditions, hotel collection and onward travel; a half-day label is not a promise that any afternoon flight connection will work. Ask about hotel pickup and finishing point explicitly. An airport or distant drop-off is a separate arrangement unless confirmed in your quote.

07 · How do I reserve?

Send your preferred date, hotel, guest count and whether you prefer a shorter introduction or a longer countryside day. Mention meal requirements and language needs. Our usual deposit is 30%, with online payment or cash available. Ask for the remaining balance and change terms in writing before you confirm.

Quick answers before booking

Can I upgrade from half day to full day during the ride?

Ask in advance. An extension depends on the rider’s availability, route, conditions and a confirmed extra charge.

Should a nervous passenger automatically choose half day?

A shorter ride may be worth discussing, but first tell us your concerns. A car option may suit you better if riding as a passenger feels uncomfortable.
