The Florest Da Lat: Flowers, Forest Views & a Ta Nung Day
The Florest, also called Hoa Trong Rung, is an option for travellers who prefer time among flowers and forest scenery to racing between photo stops.
01 · A flower destination in a forest setting
The Florest records its opening in January 2023 in the Ta Nung area. It is an established attraction to add to a fresh itinerary, rather than a newly opened venue. Flower displays change, so visit for the landscape as a whole instead of expecting one specific bloom from an old photograph.
02 · Give the main stop enough time
Around two hours is a useful planning allowance, adjusted for your pace and interest in photography. Start with an orientation walk, find a view you enjoy, then leave time for a drink if available. Check access before promising an easy walk for everyone in a mixed-age group.
03 · Keep the route on the western side
Consider this on a Ta Nung countryside day. Mongo Land can be a second option for a more playful outing, but both places need time. Choose your priority and check driving distance before confirming. Adding Cau Dat and an evening attraction to the same day would leave less time to enjoy the main stop.
04 · Seasonal photography tips
Use flowers as foreground with hills behind, stay on paths and respect planted beds. Ask for recent venue updates if a particular flower is essential. Bring practical footwear and a light rain layer. Weather, planting cycles and crowd levels can make the visit different from a social-media reference.
05 · Budget for the chosen experience
Confirm current admission and whether drinks or activities are included. Our private-car hire does not automatically include attraction tickets or meals. Highland Sport Travel can also arrange a separate active nature day, such as Samson trekking or Tuyen Lam paddling, for variety during a longer stay.
